Mother’s Day can be beautiful. But it can also be complicated. Maybe you felt deeply appreciated and filled up yesterday. If so, I’m so glad. I hope you soaked it all in. But maybe you didn’t. Maybe the day passed without much thought from the people you care most about. Maybe you went through the motions, smiling for the brunch photos while feeling a quiet ache inside. Maybe your partner or kids didn’t say the thing, do the thing, or even ask what you wanted or needed. Or maybe you are someone who longs to be a mother, and that path hasn’t unfolded as you’d hoped… or you’ve lost your mom, like I did just a few years ago… Mother’s Day might have carried a heaviness that no card or flower arrangement could touch. If that’s where you are, know you’re not alone. So much of what we carry as women and mothers is invisible. The mental load. The emotional energy. The behind-the-scenes work. It doesn’t show up in Instagram posts, but it shapes our lives. And it deserves to be seen and valued. That’s why I want to encourage you to do something that feels small but is incredibly brave: Ask for what you need. Ask for help. Ask for rest. Ask for some time for yourself. Ask for time with those you love. Ask for real conversations. Ask for a do-over if Mother’s Day felt like a miss. It’s not selfish. It’s not too much. It’s modeling something powerful for everyone around you, especially your kids. And if asking feels hard… if the disappointment is deeper than a single day… if you feel alone in your relationship or unsure how to speak up - you don’t have to figure it out alone. This fall, I’m launching a group coaching experience for women who want to reconnect: with themselves, with their partners, and with what really matters in their relationships. It’s going to be warm, honest, and transformational. If that sounds like something you might want to be a part of, reply to this email or click here to respond through my website to let me know you are interested. Or, if you’re ready to work 1-on-1, I offer free consultation calls to see if coaching is a fit for you. You can reply to this email or click here and we can get you scheduled through my website. You are worthy of support, of celebration, of being seen—not just one day a year, but every day. With love and belief in you,
